Following the death of his father from a sudden heart attack at the age of 47 Shane Stubbs, founder of ‘Discover the Beat of YOUR Healthy Heart’ began his journey to educate others on the importance of a healthy heart.
Shane Stubbs and colleague, trainer Sharif Deen are guest speakers at the August MACROC CEO Breakfast Forum.
Shane, a professional health educator, has worked in the health education sector for over 20 years. He developed the ‘Discover the Beat TaskForce’ which aims to help 1 million people lower their risk of a heart attack and stroke.
“Cardiovascular Disease is one of the biggest killers of Australians today and a ticking time bomb for many people. This is a topic we all need to be more informed about and I’m sure both Shane and Sharif will have valuable information to share with us,” says MACROC President Cr Benn Banasik.
Councillor Banasik encourages local business owners to attend the morning. “The MACROC Breakfast Forums are designed as networking events for business enterprises of all sizes. I would encourage you to join us at Appin House on the morning of 21 August to meet with other business owners, enjoy breakfast and hear about how to maintain a healthy heart.”
