This year is the 125th anniversary of the Camden Show, an iconic annual event and Camden Show Society President David Head will be joining the business leaders of Macarthur at the first MACROC CEO Breakfast Forum of 2011 to be held on Tuesday, 5 April at the Harrington Grove Country Club, Harrington Park.
David guides a dynamic 55 member committee who have worked hard to maintain the country feel of the Show while at the same time making it relevant to a younger generation.
As MACROC President Benn Banasik says “The Camden Show has a strong connection with the Macarthur community celebrating as it does our rural foundations but as we are all aware successful events don’t plan or run themselves. There is a lot of strategic planning required to achieve success. I am looking forward to hearing David tell us about some of the strategies that he and his committee have devised to make the ”business” of the Camden Show profitable.
Councillor Banasik encourages local business owners to attend the morning. “The MACROC Breakfast Forums are designed as networking events for business enterprises of all sizes. I would encourage you all to come along on the morning of 5 April to meet with other business owners, enjoy breakfast and hear what should be an interesting presentation by David Head.”
