John Brogden will be joining the business leaders of Macarthur at the second MACROC CEO Breakfast Forum of 2010 to be held on Tuesday, 14 September at Durham Green, Menangle.

John Brogden is the CEO of the Financial Services Council which represents retail and wholesale funds management, superannuation and life insurance industries. John is on the Board of Sydney Ports Corporation and is Patron and a National Board Member of Lifeline Australia.

In 2006 John was appointed CEO of health insurer Manchester Unity, which he successfully merged with HCF in 2008. From 2006 – 2009 John was Chairman of Abacus Australian Mutual which represents Australia’s 130 credit unions and building societies.

In 2002, on his 33rd birthday, John was elected Leader of the Opposition – the youngest person ever to hold that position.
