MEDIA RELEASE – Greater Western Sydney GIANTS at Breakfast

Thursday 30 July 2014

The business community of Macarthur is invited to attend the second MACROC CEO Breakfast for 2014 being held at the Picton Bowling Club on the morning of Friday 15 August.

“For our second breakfast of 2014 we will be joined by two of the most influential men in AFL. As many of you will know Kevin Sheedy is one of the game’s greatest ambassadors and one of the most decorated. He helped turn Essendon from a small suburban club into a national brand. Kevin now sits on the Board of the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS and is helping to grow the brand across Western Sydney,” says MACROC President Cr Penny Fischer.

“David Matthews was appointed CEO of the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS in 2011 and has overseen the GIANTS entry into the AFL competition and their historic win over cross town rivals the Sydney Swans in March this year.”

Cr Fischer encourages local business owners to attend the morning. “The MACROC Breakfast Forums are designed as networking events for business enterprises of all sizes. Please join us, meet with other business owners, enjoy breakfast and hear what the future hold for the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS, their extraordinary success and what lessons businesses could potentially take from it.”
